8FO.COM Terms of Service

1. Platform Role

• 8FO.COM is a B2B information service platform connecting global buyers and suppliers for supply-demand matching and business inquiry.
• The Platform acts solely as an information intermediary. The Platform does NOT participate in transaction negotiation, contract signing, payment settlement, cargo transportation, or customs clearance.
• The Platform bears no guarantee, warranty, or compensation liability for any transactions concluded between Users off the Platform.
• Available services include: enterprise profile display, product publication, RFQ (Request for Quotation) posting, business inquiry, instant message communication, and value-added promotion services.

2. User Obligations

• Eligibility: You must be a legally registered business entity or authorized representative. By registering, you represent that all submitted information is true, accurate, and complete.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Content Standards: You agree not to publish false, misleading, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, or illegal content. All product listings and RFQs must be genuine commercial offers.
• Prohibited Conduct: Spamming, harassment, malicious slander of competitors, unauthorized data collection/scraping, and any activity disrupting Platform operations are strictly prohibited.
• Business Conduct: Users shall act in good faith, honor commitments, and comply with all applicable international trade laws, sanctions, and export controls.

3. Payment Terms

• Free Services: Basic registration, browsing, and RFQ posting are free of charge.
• Paid Services: Premium supplier features, promoted listings, and advertising packages are available. Pricing is displayed on the Packages page and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
• Transaction Payments: The Platform does not process payments between buyers and suppliers. Users arrange payment terms, methods, and conditions independently.
• Refund Policy: Paid service fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or explicitly stated in a specific service agreement.

4. Intellectual Property

• Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute such content on the Platform.
• The Platform's name, logo, design, software, and system are proprietary intellectual property. No copying, reproduction, or redistribution without written permission.
• Users warrant that uploaded content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• The Platform provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• The Platform does not guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, or legality of information posted by Users.
• Any commercial disputes (payment default, cargo damage, breach of contract, tariff issues) arising from offline transactions shall be resolved solely between transaction parties.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• The Platform is not liable for losses caused by network failure, third-party service issues, or force majeure.

6. Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
• Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
• For disputes between Users, the Platform may, at its discretion, facilitate communication but assumes no obligation to mediate or resolve.

7. Termination and Suspension

• The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, including: submitting false information, engaging in fraudulent activity, violating content standards, or repeated complaints from other Users.
• Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting Platform support. Certain data retention obligations under law may apply.

8. Modifications

• The Platform may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email.
• Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
